Beau Hesterberg
Lead Pastor
Beau Hesterberg invited Jesus into his life as a child after reading Romans 10:9: “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” That night, he prayed for forgiveness and asked Jesus to lead his life. Not long after, Beau and his family moved to Brownsville, where he has spent most of his life.
He began attending BCF Church in 2003 and has served in many ministries, including student ministry, small groups, and preaching on Sundays. It was through a BCF small group that he met his wife, Giana. Together, they have three wonderful children—Jack, Cecily, and Felicity.
In 2018, BCF’s founding pastor, Kenny Lewis, asked Beau to consider stepping into the role of Lead Pastor. After much prayer, Beau and Giana said yes. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Moody Theological Seminary in 2023 and became Lead Pastor in 2022. Beau enjoys spending time with his family, going on bike rides, and playing video games with his brothers and friends.
