God is good. All the time. And all the time. God is good.
- God uses suffering to develop patience. "Why did I not perish at birth?" (Job 3:11, English Standard Version)"¿Por qué no morí yo en la matriz?" "Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:4, New International Version)
- God uses suffering to develop perseverance and endurance. "Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him;" (Job 13:15, NIV)"Aunque él me mate, en él esperaré;""…rejoice in our sufferings because suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." (Romans 5:3-4, NIV)"Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?" (Job 38:4, NIV)
- God uses suffering to develop humility. "I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth." (Job 40:4, NIV)"Soy tan insignificante, ¿cómo podría yo responderte? Mejor me tapo la boca con la mano." "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit". (Psalm 34:18, NIV)"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint". (Isaiah 40:31, King James Bible)"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)
