Welcome to Anchored, Young Adults Ministry!
Whether you are just starting college, entering into a career, newly engaged to be married, or already starting a family, we understand the unique challenges that come with this stage of life, and we're here to walk alongside you as you explore what it means to live out your faith in today's world.
Beyond our regular meetings, we offer small groups, service opportunities, and social events that encourage real connections and foster a sense of belonging. Whether you're a lifelong believer or just beginning to explore your faith, you are welcome here.
Join us as we journey together, building a community rooted in truth, faith, and a desire to make a positive impact in our world. We believe that this ministry is not just a place to attend but a family to belong to, where every voice is valued and every story matters. Come as you are, and let's grow together in Christ.
Statistics show that up to 80% of those who grew up in a Christian household will leave the faith by the time they finish college. Our world and especially our colleges have become increasingly anti-Christian spreading doubt or even disbelief to those who are either unequipped or unprepared to defend their faith.
In a world where secular (non-religious) belief is on the rise, we need to be prepared to have an answer for the hope that we have (1 Peter 3:15).
· How do we know that Christianity is true?
· Is there evidence for God?
· Is the Bible reliable?
· Is there historical evidence for Jesus?
Christianity IS NOT a faith-based religion. What that means, is that our hope is not guided by blind faith, but rather is rooted in evidence.
Anchored was established with the primary purpose of equipping members with a deep understanding of their faith, enabling them to not only defend their beliefs against challenges but also to share them with confidence and clarity. By fostering a strong foundation in theological knowledge, Anchored seeks to inspire members to engage in meaningful conversations, articulate their faith with conviction, and positively impact those around them through informed and thoughtful dialogue.
