About Pastor Beau

Beau Hesterberg invited Jesus to come into his life as a child, having read Romans 10:9. “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9, NLT).

That evening, he did just that, asking Jesus to forgive him and come into his life. Since then, he moved to Brownsville with his family and has spent most of his life here.

He started attending BCF Church in 2003, where he has served in a variety of ministries, including student ministry, small groups, and preaching on Sundays.

He met his beautiful wife, Giana, at a BCF small group, and they have three amazing children together, Jack, Cecily, and Felicity.

In 2018, Pastor Kenny Lewis, the founding pastor of BCF, asked Beau if he would consider taking over as Lead Pastor when he retired. Beau and Giana prayed and agreed. Beau immediately began seminary at Moody Theological Seminary, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2023.

Pastor Kenny retired at the end of 2021, officially passing the torch to Beau at the start of 2022.

Pastor Beau enjoys spending time with his family, going on bike rides, and video gaming with his brothers and friends.
